9 Coffee Shops You Need to Check Out in Atlanta

We love a good coffee shop. When you think of cities with cool coffee shops, Seattle and New York might be the first to come to mind - but Atlanta has its fair share of unique, local coffee shops. Each coffee shop brings something different to the table, whether it be their spin on a classic cappuccino or the vibe of their space. You’ll have to grab a friend or two and check out some of ATL’s most notable coffee joints.

9 coffee shops in Atlanta you need to check out:

  1. Dancing Goats - There are four Dancing Goats locations around Atlanta, so you’re bound to be nearby one. Our personal favorite is the Ponce City Market location. Enjoy a nice cup of coffee inside, or in their enclosed patio equipped with hanging benches, lawn-style chairs for group conversations, and lots of space!

  2. Chattahoochee Coffee Company - Escape the city with this coffee location. Located right on the Chattahoochee River, you’ll get the best of both worlds - a beautiful view and coffee! Imagine sitting by the river, warm cup of coffee in hand, watching the leaves fall off the trees. A picture straight out of our dreams.

  3. Crazy Love Coffee House - Located in Roswell, Crazy Love Coffee House will make you feel right at home, literally, since it’s a converted historic home. Known for its rustic theme, you can live out your backwoods fantasies by drinking iced coffee straight out of a mason jar, or eat their sugar-loaded waffles. Not only do you get to indulge in some crazy good coffee, you can also browse around for some crazy love merch. From candles to tee’s, you’re bound to find something (other than coffee) that matches your taste.

  4. Rev Coffee Roasters - This one is for the Smyrna folks. They take their coffee seriously, so you can always expect an incredible cup on one of the comfiest couches we have ever felt. Rev has a solid sourcing for their beans, always roasted fresh. Not to mention the great environment for meeting friends or taking some “me time.” To top it all off, twice a year they put on Rev Fest, a day-long festival filled with local artists and musicians right outside of their coffee shop.

  5. Ebrik’s Coffee Room - If you’re spending your day downtown, take a quick pit stop at Ebrik’s. It’s like a downtown living room and spacious study spot all in one. Ebrik’s gives you the option to take your coffee upstairs with plenty of spaces to sit and study or relax on one of their pallet sofas surrounded by plenty of natural lighting. Whatever vibe you’re going for, Ebrik’s delivers.

  6. Spiller Park - Batter up! What started as a simple coffee kiosk in Ponce City Market, Spiller Park hit a grand slam and expanded to a full-service cafe in the Toco Hills shopping center. If you’re a baseball fan, Spiller Park is the place for you. With some killer baseball themed merch, and customized espresso drinks, it’s the perfect spot to catch up and make memories.

  7. Brash Coffee - Answer this: Have you ever seen a coffee shop inside of a converted blue shipping container? You have to check out this coffee shop located in West Midtown. While they may be small, they pack some big flavor into their coffees. Sourcing all of their roasting beans directly from farms in El Salvador and Honduras, you’re sure to get a great cup of joe. Stop by to fulfill your caffeine needs before you shop around the neighborhood!

  8. East Pole Coffee Co. - This coffee shop has definitely won over the hearts of Atlanta since its opening last year. With a modern and sleek aesthetic, East Pole Coffee Co. is the perfect spot for a gathering. You can enjoy your coffee inside at the coffee bar, out on the patio, or even on their unique bleacher-style seating. Head over to Ottley Drive to check it out for yourself.

  9. Chrome Yellow Trading Co. - The ATL merch here is one-of-a-kind, and so is their coffee. Located near Cabbagetown, you won’t find anywhere quite like Chrome Yellow. White interior, plants lining the walls, and even a yellow Ducati that was once used in a Mello Yello ad on display - this Atlanta coffee scene does NOT disappoint.

Did we miss one of your favorites? Let us know! We’re always looking for new places to add to our Gatherings.
